20 injured in Discovery Bay crash

ABOUT 20 persons were injured this morning after a bus in which they were traveling skidded off the road and overturned along the Queen's Highway in Discovery Bay, St Ann.

The public passenger Toyota Coaster bus was reportedly traveling from Montego Bay, St James towards Kingston when the mishap occurred.

Several of those who sustained injuries, including cuts and bruises, were taken to the St Ann's Bay Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not considered life threatening.

The Discovery Bay police say the wet road conditions, might have contributed to the mishap.
