50-y-o St Catherine woman hit by motorcar, dies

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica -- Fifty-year-old Audre Binns died after being hit by a motorcar Wednesday morning along Cyprus Boulevard in Keystone, St Catherine.

Reports from the police are that about 8:19 am Binns was attempting to cross the road when she was hit by a Nissan Sunny motorcar. She was assisted to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

The driver has since been warned for prosecution, the police say.
