6 arrested in Westmoreland ganja find

KINGSTON, Jamaica — More than 100 hundred pounds of ganja, about an acre of fully-grown marijuana plants were destroyed and six people taken into custody in Westmoreland yesterday.
Reports are that the police were conducting an operation in the New Works district when a premises was searched and the ganja found in several large containers around 11:30am.
Further investigations in the community led to the discovery of the ganja field.
