959 pounds of ganja seized

THE police are reporting the seizure of a large quantity of ganja along the Osbourne Store main road in Clarendon Friday night.
Reports from the May Pen Police are that about 9:40 pm, police personnel were carrying out an operation along the Osbourne Store main road, when they signalled the driver of a Toyota Corolla motorcar to stop. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of several plastic bags containing ganja weighing approximately 959 pounds.
The police have since arrested two men in connection with the seizure.
Investigations continue.
