Education Minister Ronald Thwaites offers words of encouragement to students of the Allman Town Primary School in Kingston, just before the start of their graduation Wednesday at the St Paul's United Church in Kingston. Ninety-six students graduated from the school and principal Kandi-Lee Crooks-Smith said that the students did exemplary work, especially in the GSAT, where the school had "very high averages" this year. She reported that the literacy level increased by 13 per cent to 67 per cent mastery, while average attendance was 91.5 per cent. (Photo: JIS)
