CLAREMONT, St Ann — Quick response of the police and citizens resulted in the capture of an armed robber who stole a large sum of money from a man in St Ann this morning.
Reports are that an employee of a school in the Claremont area was robbed at about 10:10am while on the way to conduct business at a bank.
Alert citizens raised an alarm and the perpetrator was caught.
The money was recovered and a Beretta 9mm pistol and two 9mm rounds were also taken from the thug.
