BSI probes police killing

THE Bureau of Special Investigations (BSI) has launched a probe into an incident in which an unidentified man was fatally shot by the police on South Street in Old Harbour, St Catherine about 4:30 am on Saturday.
The body is that of a man believed to have been in his 20s, of dark complexion, slim build, and about 165 centimetres (5 feet 5 inches) long. He was clad in a grey shirt, a grey merino, and a pair of brown corduroy pants.
A .380 pistol – serial number 87248351 – and a magazine loaded with three 9 mm rounds were seized in the incident.
The matter has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations.
