Baby abandoned in toilet

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica— The St Catherine police have launched an investigation into an incident where a new-born was found abandoned in a toilet at a residence in Linstead, in the parish.
The police report that a relative who went to use the bathroom heard the baby boy crying.
Residents in the area said the child was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital for treatment.
In the meantime the police have launched a search for his mother.
