KINGSTON, Jamaica -- A team of workmen accompanied by police this morning started demolition of the four-bedroom Millsborough Avenue house captured by gay youngsters.

The demolition comes a day after police evicted 16 gay men from the abandoned dwelling in the upscale Barbican community.

Police said the men were forcefully removed from the location after they were served with several notices but ignored the warnings.

Residents in the community have repeatedly raised concern about the rowdy behaviour of the men.
