Commissioner of Police Owen Ellington (left) presents Constable Kemados Marsh with the award for Best Leadership Qualities during a passing-out parade and awards ceremony at the Jamaica Police Academy in Twickenham Park, St Catherine, yesterday. The 202 constables who graduated yesterday will shortly be deployed across the island to strengthen the work of the Jamaica Constabulary Force. Other constables presented with awards yesterday were Dayne Blackwood, who received the Para-Professional Counselling Award; Michael Hutchinson, Best Christian Principles; Shyan Evans, Highest Mark Obtained; and Adrian Bailey, who got the award for the Best Shot.
