Body found in Mount Salem

THE body of a man, believed to be in his forties, was found along a dirt track at Piggot Street in Mount Salem, St James last night.

The Mount Salem Police report that residents discovered the body in bushes beside the dirt track and informed them.

One person was held in connection with the incident but his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have information that can assist in their investigation to contact them at 953-6191, Police 119 emergency number, or the nearest Police Station.
