Boulevard cops return to court Dec 5
Saturday, March 16, 2013
CORPORALS Louie Lynch and Paul Edwards, the two police officers facing retrial for the murder of two men abducted from a Corporate Area plaza in 2004, are to return to court on December 5.
The case will be mentioned then for plea and case management hearing. The date was set when the men appeared in the Home Circuit Court yesterday.
The men were charged, along with Assistant Superintendent Victor Barrett, for the December 2004 murders of Kemar Walters and Oliver Duncan. However, Barrett was acquitted in January and a retrial ordered in relation to the two corporals.
Walters and Duncan were abducted from the Washington Plaza along Washington Boulevard, St Andrew, on December 23, 2004. They were allegedly shot dead after being taken from the plaza.
