A businessman was yesterday shot dead on Tucker Avenue, off Mountain View Avenue in Kingston.
Police report that at about 10:00 am Lloyd Brown, otherwise called Columbus, rode his motorcycle into community, close to the National Stadium, to conduct business when he was attacked by men in a car.
"He was shot several times," said the police, who told the Jamaica Observer that one theory they are investigating is that the shooting was a reprisal.
The murder has shocked residents of Nannyville, the community where Brown lived.
