ST CATHERINE, Jamaica - Three girls were on Thursday sexually assaulted by an armed intruder at a school in Linstead, St Catherine.
The Ministry of Education issued a statement on Friday saying members of the ministry's team have been offering individual counselling to the girls.

The initiative is part of the ‘Imagine: Studying in Canada!’ programme and offers teaching staff and students the chance to learn about study opportunities in Canada.
The fair officially opens at 9:00 am in the Grand Caribbean Suite of the Knutsford Court Hotel. On Monday, activities will move to the Hanover Room of the Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa in Montego Bay.
The Jamaican leg of the Education Fair is part of the 2012 Caribbean Regional Education Tour sponsored by the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and hosted by Canadian Missions throughout the Caribbean.
Apart from Jamaica, the study tour will visit five other Caribbean islands — Antigua, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, St Lucia and The Bahamas — this month.
