Chang confirms Karl Samuda’s resignation

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- General Secretary of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) Dr Horace Chang Wednesday afternoon confirmed that Karl Samuda has tendered his resignation from his elected position as treasurer of the JLP.

Dr Chang in a release said that in discussions with Samuda today (Wednesday, June 4) he explained that “he has been contemplating for some time now, the need to refocus his attention on his portfolio, his constituency of North Central St Andrew and other areas of organisation within the party”.
