A young lady from Mandeville and a Welshman emerged victors winners of the FLOW CUMI Come Run annual a fund-raiser in aid of the Montego Bay based Committee for the Upliftment of the Mentally Ill (CUMI) over the weekend.

Chris Yorke — an accomplished long distance runner from North Wales on vacation in the island — crossed the finish line in 40 minutes and 20 seconds to win the Men's 10K, while Jullette Dinnall took the top spot in the Female 10K Run in just under 46 minutes.

This year's event has raised nearly $3M dollars which will be put into a Trust to fund CUMI's continued provision of post-hospital care and rehabilitative services that enable the mentally challenged to become productive members of society.
