Constant Spring Road businessman arrested for electricity theft

KINGSTON, Jamaica – A business operator along Constant Spring Road in Kingston was on Monday arrested for electric theft.

The Jamaica Public Service (JPS) in a release said that a total of 53 meters were checked during an anti-theft operation and four irregularities were found.

Last month, two business operators were arrested in Montego Bay for electricity theft.

More than 300 people have been arrested for electricity theft since the start of the year, the JPS reported.
