Cop killed in Portmore
Attacked while riding bicycle near his home

A policeman was shot and killed near his home in Westchester in Portmore, St Catherine last night.
He has been identified as Corporal Garfield Anderson of the Island Special Constabulary Force.
Police report that about 9:30 pm Anderson was riding a bicycle on Westchester Drive when he was shot and killed.
His service pistol was found on his body.
Anderson, who worked at the Harbour Street police post, is the 13th police officer to be killed this year.
The Greater Portmore police are investigating.
