Cops destroy $17 million worth of ganja, hash oil

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Cops from the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division (TCND), destroyed ganja and hash oil worth millions of dollars today, at a burning site in the Corporate Area.

Ganja and hash oil with an estimated street value of $17,000,000, were seized between 2010 and 2012, with the majority of seizures being made this year.

They were used as exhibits in criminal cases and all cases relating to the seizures have been disposed of in the various courts.
