Saturday, September 29, 2012

MONTEGO BAY, St James — The police were up to press time last night, questioning two brothers in connection with Monday night’s robbery and rape of five females in Irwin Point, St James.

According to a police source, one of the suspects, who is in his early 20s, was picked up by lawmen on Tuesday; while the other, said to be about 18 years old, turned himself in to the police yesterday.

The females, which included an eight-year-old, were reportedly tied up and raped at gunpoint at approximately 10:30 pm. The eight-year-old has since been hospitalised.
