Curfew in Tawes Pen

A curfew has been imposed in Tawes Pen, St Catherine.

It began at 6:00 pm yesterday and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm tomorrow.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

NORTH: Along St Johns Road from the Spanish Town bypass to the train line;

SOUTH: Along Old Harbour Road from the train line to the Spanish Town bypass;

EAST: Along the train line from St Johns Road to Old Harbour Road;

WEST: Along the Spanish Town bypass from Old Harbour Road to St Johns Road.

During the hours of the curfew all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the member of security forces who is in charge of enforcing the curfew.
