Curfews imposed in West Kingston and St Catherine

Curfews have been imposed in some West Kingston, St Andrew and St Catherine communities. The curfews began at 7:00 pm yesterday and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm tomorrow.
The boundaries of the curfews are as follows:
West Kingston
Admiral Town
North along Penn Street from Brynes Street to the gully bank;
East along the gully bank from Penn Street to Asquite Street;
South along Asquite Street from the gully bank to Brynes Street;
West along Brynes Street from Asquite Street to Penn Street.
Lincoln Cresent
North along Rousseau Road from William Road to Lincoln Crescent;
East along Lincoln Crescent from Rousseau Road to Lincoln Avenue;
South along Lincoln Avenue from Lincoln Crescent to William Road;
West along William Road from Lincoln Avenue to Rosseau Road.
Kintyre and Tavern
North along an imaginary line from the intersection of Gordon Town Road and Tavern Drive to Camp View Road;
East along an imaginary line from Camp View Road to the intersection of Hope Flats Road and Kintyre Road;
South along Kintyre Road from the intersection with Hope Flats Road to the intersection with Tavern Drive;
West along Tavern Drive from the intersection with Hope Flats Road using an imaginary line to the intersection with Gordon Town Road.
Jungle 12 and Bryce Hill, August Town
North along Bryce Hill Road from Bryce Hill Lane (Duppy Lane) to August Town Road;

During the hours of the curfews all persons within the boundaries are required to
remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the members
of security forces in charge of enforcing the curfews.
