Decomposing body found in Westmoreland

THE body of an unidentified man was found this morning in a canefield in Llandilo, Savanna-la-Mar.

Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar Police are that about 7:45 am, a passerby stumbled upon the body and alerted the police, who subsequently processed the scene and removed the body to the morgue.

The body was clad in a beige t-shirt and beige pants. It is of medium build, dark complexion and about 178 centimetres (5 feet 10 inches) long.

Investigators are asking those with information to contact the Savanna-la-Mar Police at 955-2536 or 955-2758, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
