Double murder in Spanish Town

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica - Two people were on Friday gunned down by unknown assailants in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

They are 56-year-old canteen operator Marva Henry of Mahogany Drive, Spanish Town, and an unidentified man, who is believed to be about 55 years old.

The unidentified man is of dark complexion, slim build and was clad in a green merino, black and white striped underpants and a pair of black Nike sneakers.

Reports are that about 8:20 pm, residents heard explosions and summoned the police. When the lawmen got to the area, both Henry and the unidentified man were seen with multiple gunshot wounds.

They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
