ECJ doing data verification in selected areas

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

THE Electoral Commission of Jamaica (ECJ) is currently conducting data verification in selected areas across the island.

The verification programme, said the ECJ, is aimed at updating information in its elector database.

"Verifiers wearing EOJ branded shirts and identification cards will be visiting electors in various communities to verify and update their personal information. Residents are being urged to cooperate with the verifiers by providing the relevant information as necessary," an ECJ release said.

The verification should be completed by the end of the month.
