Fire destroys Linstead house

FIRE destroyed a three bedroom dwelling in Bowers Wood, Linstead, St Catherine last night.

The Bog Walk police report that about 9:00 pm, residents saw fire coming from a section of the house. They called the police and a unit from the Linstead Fire Department extinguished the blaze.

Loss is estimated at $4 million and no one was injured.
