Fire destroys house in St Andrew

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- Fire believed to be the work of arsonists destroyed a three-bed room house on Whitehall Avenue in St Andrew Friday.

The Constant Spring Police report that about 3:10 pm neighbours saw fire and smoke coming from the building and summoned the Police and Fire Department. The Half Way Tree Fire Department responded and conducted cooling down operations.

An estimate of the loss has not yet been ascertained. The building was not insured.
