Hope Bay, Portland — Two homes were completely destroyed by fire in Hope Bay, Portland this morning.

Reports are that the fire started about 2:45 am and the fire service called. Two units one from Port Antonio and the other from Buff Bay responded but could not save the homes.

Completely destroyed is a four-bedroom house belonging to Eugene Shadeu, which also had an adjoining shop; and the other a three-bedroom house occupied by Lukean Edwards.

No one was injured.
