Firearm, ammo seized in Hanover

THE police removed another illegal firearm from the hands of criminals during an operation in Maryland, Hanover yesterday.

No one was arrested in connection with the find.

It was reported that about 12:40 pm, cops were on operation in the area, when a man was seen fleeing. During a subsequent search, a Beretta 9mm Pistol — serial number erased — and nine 9mm rounds were found.
