Firearm seized in Rose Town, man arrested

KINGSTON, Jamaica -- A firearm and several rounds of ammunition were seized by members of the Mobile Reserve on Tobias Street, Rose Town in Kingston Wednesday. 
A man identified as 26-year-old Bobby Anderson of Moore Street, Rose Town has been arrested in connection with the find.
The Denham Town Police report that about 1:30 pm a team of officers was patrolling the area when a man was accosted and searched.
A 9mm Colt pistol and a magazine containing eleven 9mm rounds were found in his possession, the police say.
