Saturday, November 10, 2012 | 7:17 PM
KINGSTON, Jamaica - The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) says that heavy rains in northern parishes have resulted in flooding in sections of St Mary.
The areas affected include Port Maria, Oracabessa and sections of Junction in the vicinity of Georgia.
ODPEM Saturday afternoon said that emergency response agencies have been alerted and are currently reporting to the areas.
Persons in flood prone areas are reminded to decide on likely evacuation routes and be ready to leave.
