KINGSTON, Jamaica — Thirty-two-year-old Andrew Beale otherwise called ‘Raymond Anthony Folkes’, ‘Blacks’, ‘Mr T’ and ‘Wingy’, who escaped from the Half-Way-Tree police lockup on September 30, 2010 was recaptured this morning.

Beale was arrested in March of 2010 and charged by the St Thomas Police in April for illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

In June of the same year the Major Investigation Taskforce (MIT) also charged Beale for the murder of Headley Charles Morris in December 2008 on Windward Road.

He was awaiting trial when he escaped.

Reports are that about 5:00am, Beale was apprehended during an operation led by the MIT and Flying Squad at premises in Gregory Park, St Catherine.
