THE Ministry of Education will release Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) results for this year to schools on Monday.
In a release to the media the ministry asked principals of preparatory and primary schools to pick up their packages at the regional offices at 9:00 am that day.
Despite concerns from some anxious parents that the results are being released late, the ministry said the timing of the release was not abnormal.
"The Ministry of Education understands the anxiety and anticipation for the results. It must be noted however that the results are not late as over the years it is normally released between the second and fourth week in June. The ministry stands ready to address all concerns and queries from parents and schools on the results. They can call in to the nearest regional office or the central office," the release stated.
