Ganja valued at $1.7m seized in MoBay

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Ganja valued at almost two million dollars was seized and four men arrested at Unity Hall, Montego Bay in St James today.

The find was made on a property during a special operation by the Transnational Crime and Narcotics and the Marine Divisions at about 11:00am.

The drugs, estimated at J$1.7 million, were found in several packages that were placed in19 knitted bags.

Four men who occupied the property were arrested.

Their identities have been withheld as investigations continue.
