Gas price down, diesel up

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Some motorists should pay marginally less at the pumps starting Thursday as Petrojam has reduced its ex-refinery price of gasoline.

87 and 90-octane gasoline will both sell for $0.60 less to settle at $105.47 and $107.13 per litre respectively.

However, automotive diesel fuel will cost $1.44 more per litre, increasing to $111.78.

Meanwhile, kerosene and butane have also had price increases. Kerosene will sell for $111.48, per litre, up$1.26.

Butane is increased by $1.00 and will sell at $48.95 per litre.

The price of propane falls marginally to $35.89 per litre, down $0.21.

Marketing agents and retailers will add their respective mark-up.
