Gas prices increase by $1.97

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Petrojam has announced an increase in the ex refinery price of all categories of fuel, effective tomorrow.
87 and 90-octane gasoline have both been increased by $1.97 and will be sold for $108.83 and $110.48 per litre, respectively.
Automotive diesel oil has been increased by $1.43 and it will now be sold for $116.74 per litre.
The price of kerosene oil has increased by 84 cents; it will now be sold for $118.72 per litre.
After an increase of $1.50, propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $39.60 per litre, while butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $55.80 per litre, after an increase of 74 cents.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up.
