German on child porn charges for court today

Monday, January 16, 2012

SVEN Littkowski, the German national said to the alleged mastermind behind a Corporate Area child pornography ring and illegal fertility treatment centre, is to appear before the Half-Way-Tree Resident Magistrate's Court today.

The Police High Command said yesterday that Littkowski, a businessman, was charged last Wednesday with three counts of possession of child pornography contrary to Section 5 (1) of the Child Pornography Act.

"The arrest and charge of Littkowski followed an operation conducted on his place of domicile by personnel from the Denham Town Police Station," the police said in a release.

Police sources report that two other men were also arrested in the operation following a complaint from a teenager who they alleged was one of several young girls who had fallen victim to the men.

Several computers and hard drives on which sexually explicit photographs and videos of minors were stored were seized during the reported raid by the police.

Detectives from the Organised Crime Investigation Division said they have obtained evidence which alleged that the accused illegally performed the duties of a doctor who could provide fertility treatment for women and have since recorded statements to substantiate the claim.

In the meantime, the police have appealed to persons who have visited Littkowski for fertility treatment at his house located at Apartment H, 3 Musgrave Avenue, St Andrew to contact personnel at the Organised Crime Investigations Division at 967-1389, 922-3771 or call 119.

Police said the German national has worked with several Corporate Area companies in the IT sector.
