Thursday, January 10, 2013 | 11:44 AM

TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO — A 13-year-old schoolgirl was abducted and gang-raped on Tuesday.

The Trinidad Express has reported that the secondary school pupil got into a purple vehicle at Knox Street, San Fernando at around 1:10 pm, and asked to be taken to Library Corner.

The schoolgirl said the driver proceeded to Harris Promenade, where he picked up two other men.

The newspaper said she told police one of the men placed a bag over her head, pulled a string around her neck, and ordered her to stay still. After this one of the men stuck an object to the back of her neck and threatened to kill her.

The girl reported that she was taken to a house in an unknown location and raped, while the bag was still over her head.

She said she was later dropped off at South Oropouche.

The police are said to be investigating.
