Sunday, October 31, 2010 | 7:58 AM

PRIME Minister Bruce Golding has called a special meeting of the country’s emergency relief agencies for tomorrow morning at 9:00 amidst forecasts that hurricane Tomas could become a category three hurricane by the time it reaches Jamaica.

The meeting will be held at Jamaica House after which the prime minister will deliver an update to the nation, based on the outcome of the briefing from the various agencies.

Tomas is the second storm in the Atlantic Basin to intensify to hurricane strength and the season’s 12th hurricane.
