Gorge closed due to flooding

THE Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management wishes to advise the public that the Bog Walk Gorge is closed due to flooding.

The public is advised to use the alternative routes at Barry and Sligoville.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force and the Jamaica Fire Brigade are on location and the ODPEM will continue to monitor the situation and further updates will be provided as the situation demands.
