Gun, ammo seizure in Spanish Town

KINGSTON, Jamaica - The Spanish Town Police seized a firearm and several rounds of ammunition in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
Reports are that the lawmen were on patrol in the community Thursday when they stopped and searched a brown Toyota Corolla motor car. During the search, a Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol and nine 9mm rounds were found.
Three men were taken into custody in relation to the finding; their names are being withheld pending further investigations.
