Gun seized in Richmond Park, man arrested

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police seized a firearm and arrested one man in Richmond Park, Kingston 10 yesterday evening.

Reports from the Half Way Tree Criminal Investigation Branch are that about 7:25 pm, Police were on patrol when three pedal cyclists were accosted and searched, after one of them allegedly threw an object in bushes. The area was searched and the weapon found.

The identity of the man in custody is being withheld pending further investigations.
