ON Wednesday last, hundreds of mourners turned out at the Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Old Hope Road in St Andrew to give thanks for the life of Phillip McDonald, a man who could at best be described as inimitable.

McDonald, the father of the Jamaica Observer's senior associate editor for lifestyle and social content Novia McDonald-Whyte, was hailed as a man of many loves, a stickler for discipline, good manners and punctuality and an outstanding family man.

Life Tributes joins with his many relatives, friends and colleagues in hailing this great Jamaican. Rest well, Phillip McDonald.
