Homemade firearms seized in St Elizabeth

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica -- The St. Elizabeth Police seized two homemade handguns on the Crawford main road in the parish Friday evening. No one was arrested in connection with the discovery.

Reports are that between 4:30 and 5:00 pm the lawmen conducted an operation in the community, during which the weapons along with one round of ammunition, were found hidden under a tree.
