Hosts Antigua suffer shock defeat to DomRep

DEEP BAY, Antigua - The Dominican Republic delivered a shock 2-1 defeat on host Antigua and Barbuda as the CFU Caribbean Championship got underway Friday at the Antigua Recreation Ground.
In another Group A game in the double-header, Trinidad and Tobago and Haiti drew 0-0 to be tied for second place.
The Dominican Republic lead the standings on three points, with Antigua at the bottom of the four-team group.
Group B action gets underway this evening at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium with Martinique facing Cuba and defending champions Jamaica doing battle with French Guiana.
The four top finishers from the two groups will earn automatic places to next summer's CONCACAF Gold Cup.
