KINGSTON, Jamaica – Commandant of the Island Special Constabulary Force (ISCF) James Golding is in full support of the merger of his organisation and the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) which was formally approved by Cabinet today.

“Yes I fully support this merger as it will bring a more coordinated structure and organisation to dealing with the security concerns of the country,” Commandant Golding told OBSERVER ONLINE.

He further said that he will work assiduously with the implementation team responsible working out the details of the merger and gave the assurance that the general membership of the ISCF will be fully protected.

“I want to underscore that I will personally be working to ensure that the general membership of the ISCF will be protected and all their rights are fully respected and honoured,” Golding said.
