THE jetBlue plane which had to make an emergency landing at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston on Monday remained grounded yesterday.

Flight 876, which left Kingston for Fort Lauderdale, returned 15 minutes later after a report of a smoke odour. It landed safely on its return to the airport but caused flight delays Monday night.

The airline, in a statement, said four passengers were taken to medical facilities in Kingston for evaluation, while another two opted for medical examination. One of the passengers was still in hospital up to last evening.
