OFFICIALS at the Calabar High School have reported that the student who was stabbed and injured yesterday by men dressed in khaki uniforms is recovering.

Reports are that at about 2:30 pm yesterday, three men dressed as students attempted to enter the school grounds but were stopped by security guards who quickly identified that they were not from the school.

"Reports are that two men came to the school dressed as students and attempted to enter the school compound but were impeded by the school security ," said Canute Fagan, Dean of Discipline at the school.

This led to a confrontation between the men and security guards.

Students at the school who saw what was happening also came to the assistance of the guards.

One student was stabbed and injured during the melee while the three men were held by the police who were quick on the scene," said Fagan.
