JSIF to hand over $98-m community centre in Bucknor, Clarendon

MAY PEN, Clarendon – A newly-built community centre, costing just over J$98 million, will be handed over by the Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF)  to residents of the Bucknor and Rectory Lands communities in Clarendon on Saturday, June 7.
The Bucknor multi-purpose building was constructed through funding from the World Bank Inner City Basic Services Project, the JSIF said.
According to JSIF the centre is fully equipped with a library, restroom and parking facilities among other amenities. It is expected to serve 1,150 citizens of the Bucknor/Rectory Lands community.
