THE Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) says that it has no knowledge of school-children being put off any of its buses on Monday as it gave no instruction to bar any passenger.

The company was responding to allegations by Opposition Jamaica Labour Party spokesman on transport, Dr Horace Chang that there were instances of children not being allowed on JUTC buses on Monday.

The JUTC said that a check with its crews turned up no such information, but if Dr Chang could produce the evidence of this occurrence it was prepared to take strong action against any of its crews found to be guilty of putting schoolchildren off its buses.
